Process of Investigation!

Hello all!

Following up on the previous post, our group conducted intense research on this exciting phenomenon of airplanes and we are here once again to tell you our process of investigation. We first did our personal research to investigate the main reason behind the magical wonder of how planes manage to keep flight. We knew that there was this certain force that kept planes in flight but we did not know the exact term of the force.

After research, we discovered that this particular force was known as – Aerodynamic force

We were definitely glad we managed to successfully research the exact term of the force, but there were still questions that plagued us. This aerodynamic force, was it just a certain type of force? Or is it an accumulation of forces which in turn keep the plane in flight? What exactly were this forces that caused this special mysterious aerodynamic force?

Basing on these questions after analyzing this term “aerodynamic force” we thus conducted further research and lo and behold, our questions were answered! In actual fact, there were actually four aerodynamic forces – thrust, drag, weight and lift to fly despite its weight. From this, we learnt that it was vital to ask questions. Questions are the basis of gaining new knowledge and only through asking such questions above were we able to know that there were four aerodynamic forces.

With the new information acquired, we delved deeper into these four terms and research on the how these four terms actually managed to keep the aircraft in the air. Through the in depth research on these four terms, we managed to confirm our problem statement. Since these four terms involved the speed of the aeroplane and the air, weight of the aeroplane and the angle of attack, we were able to link these mathematical concepts of the phenomenon of the flight of aircraft.

However, we asked ourselves more questions. Were these forces purely the reason as to why the aircraft could keep flight? What about the particular shape of the wings of the aeroplanes? Were the shapes for a reason? Analyzing deeper on the other factors which could affect the flight of airplanes, we continued our research deeper on the other aspects regarding the flight of the aircraft.

Truly, we managed to investigate that there were certain factors in aerial navigation such as Stabilizers, Ailerons, Rudders and Elevators. With the additional information, we managed to conclude our investigation process.

Thus, from this entire investigation process, it taught us to analyze deeper and continuously question. Through questioning we were not able to rid of our doubts but also gain additional knowledge which we have not come across.

Therefore, since we’ve found all the information required, remember to stay tuned as we would be updating and satisfying your queries in the next post!
